Barbie The Nutcracker Ballet Christmas Movie and Dolls

Barbie in the Nutcracker DVD

Barbie in the Nutcracker is the perfect way for little ballerinas to have an even more magical Christmas holiday.  Little girls who love ballet and are getting excited for their own performance with a role in the Nutcracker will absolutely adore this movie.  Especially if they love Barbie!  It is the perfect surprise for starting out the holiday season, maybe even as a Thanksgiving gift.  A great Christmas gift idea is to surprise the little ballerina with a collectable Barbie of either their favorite dancer in the movie or whatever role they played in their own the nutcracker performance!

The Nutcracker Themed Ballet Christmas Ornaments

The Nutcracker Suite Clara on Stage Ornament

The Christmas holiday season coincides with one of the most renowned dance performances in ballet, the nutcracker!  It is such an exciting time of year for ballerinas and ballet enthusiasts.  A perfect way to commemorate a performance or magical trip to the theater is to add a Nutcracker themed ornament to your Christmas tree.  In this post, I would like to share with you the very best figurine The Nutcracker inspired ornaments available.  They include Clara and the Nutcracker, Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen and an Arabian Dancer.

My favorite Nutcracker performances feature Russian ballet from the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters.  Maria Khoreva is my favorite ballerina and is First Soloist in the Mariinsky theater.  She had a spectacular debut in the Nutcracker as the Sugar Plum Fairy following her graduation from the Vaganova Ballet Academy.  She may be my favorite but I do at the moment think I preferred the choreography from Bolshoi Ballet.

Give Thanks Sunflower Autumn Greeting Cards & Holiday Supplies

Give Thanks Beautiful Autumn Yellow Sunflowers Large Gift Bag

Give thanks in all you do this autumn and Thanksgiving season with beautiful sunflower give thanks greeting cards and holiday supplies.  The color scheme of this design is warm with golden hues, deep greens and burnt red colors.  The golden lines incorporate a geometric concept into this beautiful flower design.  Give thanks is written in deep red script.  All of these holiday supplies are perfect to bring to a Thanksgiving day celebration or for someone special having a birthday or other momentous occasion.  My husband is one of those whose birthday falls just before Thanksgiving.

My favorites of the collection are the wine bottle label and wine bottle gift bag design featured below.  I think it is just so unique and would make a thoughtful gift for someone hosting Thanksgiving.  After the wine and day are gone, the bottle can remain as a beautiful decoration and memory of a special time.  The products featured in this post are just a few of many with this festive design and can be found at the bottom of the post where the whole collection is featured.

A Fun and Festive Irish Dance Halloween

Cute Irish Dancers Happy Halloween Dance Poster

Looking for ways to add more Irish Dance into your life?  Halloween is right around the corner and offers the perfect opportunity with this cute Irish Dance Halloween product line.  Celebrate with posters, gift bags, Halloween greeting cards, party supplies, t-shirts and other adorable items.  Dancers with a variety of hair and solo dress colors are featured!

As a young dancer I LOVED when my dance teachers would decorate the dance studio for the holidays.  For Halloween there were festive window clings on the mirrors, some cobwebs in the corners and light strands of purple or orange.  An extra special time was always a Halloween Feis with some costumes thrown in!  This great gift collection already has Irish Dance and Halloween combined, with no extra effort necessary.
