Barbie in the Nutcracker is the perfect way for little ballerinas to have an even more magical Christmas holiday.  Little girls who love ballet and are getting excited for their own performance with a role in the Nutcracker will absolutely adore this movie.  Especially if they love Barbie!  It is the perfect surprise for starting out the holiday season, maybe even as a Thanksgiving gift.  A great Christmas gift idea is to surprise the little ballerina with a collectable Barbie of either their favorite dancer in the movie or whatever role they played in their own the nutcracker performance!

The Very Best Paris Postcards

It's always nice to send and receive mail, especially personalized greeting cards and postcards.  In this post I have shared a selection of some of the best Paris themed postcards.  There are a variety of styles so you are sure to find one to match your personal flair.  My favorite thing about Paris is definitely the Eiffel tower, so the design of these postcards do incorporate the Eiffel tower, and some even include more of the Paris skyline.

My favorites are the custom photo postcard featured above and the cute girl and cat postcard featured below.  I love that the photocard allows you to include personalization in the very design and that the rest of the card features a chic black and white color scheme for a very modern feel.  The cute girl and cat postcard is just way too adorable to pass up.  Ooh la la for sure!

Irish Dance Bags ~ Perfect for dance class!

 As I get ready to rejoin an Irish dancing school, in addition to physical preparations I have been getting my must have dance class gear together.  Soft shoes, hard shoes, poodle socks, etc.  One thing I always enjoyed having as a younger dancer (I started lessons at the age of four and am now twenty-two) was a custom Irish dance themed bag to carry my shoes and notebook for dance class.  My first was this Reel Princesses tote bag...


I used it for several years and eventually exchanged it for a drawstring bag.  I do prefer drawstring bags for a few reasons.  They are the perfect size for Irish dance gear as well as for stashing in a cubby at dance class, they offer security from dropping your things which is not provided by an open tote bag and I find them much more convenient to carry.  When I select a new bag for Irish dance class it will definitely be a drawstring bag.  Take a look below to see some of my favorite Irish Dance bags, some are designed by me!
